Sapphire FUE Hair Transplant

What is Sapphire Fue Hair Transplantation?

Sapphire Technique hair transplant; Unlike classical FUE hair transplantation, it is one of the most up-to-date hair transplantation techniques in which channels are opened with tips made of special sapphire material instead of metal tips.

In parallel with the advances in technology, we are discovering more effective methods in the field of hair transplantation, shortening the healing process and increasing patient comfort. Sapphire FUE hair transplantation is one of the applications with proven advantages in this sense.

Sapphire-FUE hair transplantation is similar to the classical Fue technique. Grafts are removed and harvested one by one from the donor area with a micromotor. Then, microchannels are opened by the physician with a pen made of sapphire material. Hair follicles are placed in the appropriate direction and frequency.. The grafts collected with the Fue technique are placed in these channels.

What are the advantages of Sapphire Technique Hair Transplantation over Classic Fue Hair Transplantation?

  • Much smaller micro channels are opened in the area where the hair follicles will be transplanted compared to the metal tips. Minimizes tissue damage. Thus, the risk of infection and necrosis is reduced. Therefore, recovery is much faster.
  • Sharp, smooth and durable sapphire tips do not spring in the tissue with slight vibration. Thus, the grafts are placed under the skin at the level and direction desired by the physician. Much more natural results are handled.
  • There is no risk of allergy like steel slits.
  • After healing, there is no scar on the skin surface.

According to Dr Gizem Yarimbas, one of the doctors of FKS Clinic;

“Using Sapphire Blade is quite difficult compared to the classical slit method. Due to its round structure, it is important to give the right direction to the hair and adjust the density. I recommend Sapphire tecnique in centres like us that are pioneers of the Sapphire technique.”
