1. What are the technological developments in hair transplantation in Turkey?

This is the first of the most common questions. Thanks to its extraordinary development, Turkey is at the forefront of hair transplantation. 2. Does hair fall out again after hair transplantation?

 This is one of most common questions. About 2 to 4 weeks after hair transplantation, a temporary hair loss is experienced. Temporary hair loss after FUE hair transplantation is a natural cycle of the healing process. Hair follicles enter the dormant period before starting the growth cycle and then fall out. In this process, the hair will fall out first. After a while after the shock shedding process has passed, the transplanted hair will start to grow back.

3. Am I a suitable candidate for hair transplant?

 Before hair transplantation, the suitability of the patient for the operation should be evaluated.  For this, it must pass an inspection.  For example;  Even if the hair transplant operation is successful, individuals with some health problems may not get very productive results.  There are some reasons for a person to have a hair transplant.  There should be sufficient healthy hair in the donor areas where the grafts will be taken.  A person’s expectations from hair transplantation should be realistic. Otherwise, he may not be a suitable candidate for the procedure.

4. Do you feel pain in a hair transplant procedure performed with the FUE technique?

 The pain experienced varies from person to person.  During the operation, the area where the hair follicles will be taken is anesthetized.  in the same way, the area to be transplanted is anesthetized with local anesthesia.  In the FUE hair transplant procedure, pain is not felt after the anesthetic effect.  After the hair transplant operation, anesthesia continues to show its effect.  The patient will not feel pain for a long time.  Some discomfort and tenderness may be felt after the surgery.  however, it will usually be short and light.  Most of the patients can return to their routine life the next day after the operation.

5. How long does a hair transplant operation take?

 The duration of hair transplantation varies according to the number of grafts to be transplanted in the operation.  It usually varies between 6-8 hours.  You can also spend time listening to music or watching movies during hair transplantation.  Most of the patients find the operation time quite reasonable.

6. Is the beard transplant process similar to hair transplant?

 Extraction, canal and planting methods used in beard transplantation are similar.  The level of pain, the duration of the operation and the healing process are the same.
